The Faculty of Arts and the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Groningen offer a four-year PhD scholarship within the joint interdisciplinary project „A recipe for resilience or for disaster? Assessing the impact of humanitarian aid on t recipient societies“. The project investigates whether humanitarian aid contributes to the resilience of crisis-affected societies or on the contrary further exposes them to disasters.

The preferred starting date is September 1st, 2022. Applications can be submitted until May 30th, 2022.
