The Bernhard Nocht Institute for Tropical Medicine in Hamburg is inviting applications for a Post-Doc as well as for a PhD position within the Health Economics Research Group starting April 1st, 2022. Both vacant positions fit in the field of global health and focus primarily on infection control and emerging infections.

Therefore, the Institute is looking for applicants holding or being in the process of obtaining (depending on the position) a Master’s degree or PhD in economics and related disciplines such as geography, psychology, and statistics. The successful candidates will – among other things – participate in joint research of the working group on questions of global health, one health, and public health as well as design and coordinate interventions and field work activities.
