The University of Stuttgart is looking to appoint a professor as the head of the Department for Economics, with a specialization in Microeconomics.

The professorship is expected to provide microeconomic contributions to academic teaching in Bachelor and Master programs; the professor should be able to represent the entire field of microeconomics. Main research foci of the professorship should lie in the fields of industrial organization, political economy, behavioural economics or experimental economics. Interests in the field of digital markets (e.g. platform economics) or in the field of data science and digitalization are an asset.
